★★★★★ - This book was absolutely amazing.

What a great idea to start 2022 with a good book. I did not want to be disappointed by my first read of the year, that is why I chose [b:The Girl with Seven Names: A North Korean Defector’s Story|25362017|The Girl with Seven Names A North Korean Defector’s Story|Hyeonseo Lee|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1435968828l/25362017._SY75_.jpg|45105689]. This is typically the kind of book I usually love, so I had very high expectations and was almost sure I would not be disappointed.
And it did not disappoint: I highly recommend this book to absolutely everyone, especially if you have some sort of interest in North Korea.
I loved it, it was perfect and so well-written! It is almost impossible to put this book down once you start to read it.
I found [a:Hyeonseo Lee|7785294|Hyeonseo Lee|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1438423401p2/7785294.jpg]'s story very touching, yet not extremely sad or depressing. I was a bit scared to start the year with a very sad story, but this book is full of hope and kindness. I cannot find the appropriate words to tell how much I enjoyed it.
Please, read this book. It is so perfect, absolutely amazing and so hopeful.
