I'm a huge fan of Sandra Montefiore and I enjoyed this book but it's not a favorite.
It can be read as a stand alone but I think it's better to read the rest of the Deverill series as there's plenty of characters and it could be a bit problematic to keep track of them and their stories.
It's an engrossing and entertaining stories. I was happy to meet again characters from the past book and I loved Kitty, her strength and her force.
I wasn't a fan of Margot but I rooted for her and Colm.
There's plenty going on in this book and it was a pleasant read.
I'm wondering if this is the last book in this series as I cannot hep wondering what will happend to Margot and Colm.
