This book was fairly good but It is  definitely is geared towards teen readers some of the language could be a little bit better constructed in terms of descriptions which can be repetitive,  a similar series that I actually like a little bit more would be in the Naomi Novak books, like Uprooted. But, I can understand why people like these books.
