Wow. The ending was phenomenal. The book itself was sooo looong but it was very much needed to build the plot and unfold the story. The gore, the horror, the suspense! The first few parts I had lots of questions but they revealed the answer in the later half of the book. The author did an amazing job, not just with the plot build, but also with painting the picture of how life was in 1890, and 1912.
