Pike Island by Tony Wirt
4.0

Pike Island was a fast, addictive thriller that pulled me in right from the start. I decided to go with the audio version, and I’m so glad I did the narration added so much tension and atmosphere, really bringing the story to life and making it hard to step away.

The plot itself is tightly woven and constantly moving, which made this such a quick read (or listen). The pacing never dragged, and every chapter seemed to end with just enough suspense to make me hit “next” right away. There’s a claustrophobic sense of dread woven into the setting of the island, and Tony Wirt did a great job capturing that isolated, eerie vibe that kept me on edge.

What I especially enjoyed was how the twists were laid out. While some moments were a little predictable, the execution still had me hooked, and I wanted to know how everything would unravel. The stakes felt high, the atmosphere was chilling, and the characters had just enough depth to keep me invested in their choices and secrets.

Overall, Pike Island is a perfect pick if you’re in the mood for a quick, tense thriller with a creepy setting and an addictive plot. The audiobook makes it even more engaging I flew through it and enjoyed every suspenseful moment.
