The Good House by Ann Leary

5.0

I never would have guessed that I would love a book, where the hero and narrator is a full-blown alcoholic who is (for the most part) completely in denial about her addiction. Ann Leary has really captured the complications of human nature and wrapped them up in an interesting story about life in a little, New England town. This is a great summer read, when you want an escape, but still want to read a very well-crafted novel.
