Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
3.0

Mrs. Dalloway was a good read.

It was difficult for me to get a hang of Woolf’s writing style at first. Especially in this book where you jumped from one character’s thoughts to another.

The way she switched characters was so sudden and seamless that it was jarring for me to get back on track. There were a couple of times where I had to reread a page over and over again to figure out who’s thoughts I was in. It takes a while to get used to.

What I really enjoyed with this book was how Woolf wrote all these people. How real they felt! You followed them around for a whole day in their thoughts. You knew them. You understood them.

Augh how I love books like these.
