I was really curious about whether this one would hold up or not, there are reviews heavily lamenting the end of the book, one even goes so far as to proclaim it a 4⭐️ read, but drops it down to 1⭐️ for SA. I hadn’t remembered there being SA… and that’s cause there isn’t any. Dunford’s temper is pretty volatile and Henry is concerned about what she perceives as her own flaws in the bedroom, it’s not the greatest consent scene ever, but he does ASK if she wants this. The miscommunication isn’t my favorite, but these two still are, their banter throughout the book is so good. I don’t love the age gap, Henry feels young in the first half of the book, but some London polish helps.
