This book is a creative look into internalized racism and modern applications of 16th century Chinese wisdom. It's both heartbreaking and made me laugh out loud. I appreciate that the main character wasn't just an innocent receiver of aggression - he passed forward his pain and perpetuated the racism he received. I loved how the stories came together at the end.
