The enhanced are humans who have developed special abilities that lead the masses to distrust, fear, and even oppress them. So when Talon becomes one, he is certain his goals to accomplish something meaningful with his life are out the window. Until he is given an opportunity to join the FBI, but in doing so he has to partner with a human who is the most unlikely partner he would choose--well, if he had any choice. Finn isn't exactly excited about the partnership, either, but they both have more on the line than either is willing to admit. And what they end up learning by being willing to rely on each other, even just a little bit, has a profound significance for them both.
