Three Women by Lisa Taddeo

4.0

After reading one of the reviews in this Goodreads, I realized that I did really enjoy the book. I had to listen to it rather than reading it, which I definitely recommend, but overall it was a very interesting book. The key point that I think I and many other people have struggled on is the fact that we thought it was going to come to some sort of resolution about women’s desires. I would’ve loved to see it dip into the psychology of what these three women were going through. But as the review stated, and as I was, reminded myself, this book is solely just about three women. Three women and their story. So if I use the concept of this is just three women and their story, I truly did enjoy the book. I felt every women’s pain in different ways some personally, and some empathy. I really hope Lina, Maggie and Sloan learn more about themselves, and learn to trust the world, and love themselves enough to choose themselves and not the shitty man that they have put up with. Obviously there’s more to what I hope these women end up getting, but it would be too much for this one review. I put it at 4 because although I understand the purpose of the book, I really wish it did dive more into the psychological aspect, and women’s desires.
