i was so excited for this, but found most of it quite a drag. Did however pick up in the last 75%
Loved the inclusion of Isaiah and Rachel. They’re my favorite Mcgarry characters.
I guess I’m just not that much of a fan of violet, although the resolution pleased me and I understand her motives.
Felt there was too much riot friction and other stressors that just carried on the be quickly resolved by the end of the novel.
But I don’t read her novels to be flawed by literary prowess.
All and all a bit let down.
