The Scent of Time: A Philosophical Essay on the Art of Lingering
by Byung-Chul Han

informative
inspiring
medium-paced
I really appreciate the focus that Byung-Chul Han brings to this essay, and the many lenses/perspectives (and criticisms) around our construction of time. The comprehensive analysis of contemplative life — and its relationship to the active life — feel particularly salient right now, especially as technologies like AI accelerate labour/production in the realm of work.
