Terry Crews tells a beautiful and powerful story of how he learned what real masculinity is. He talks about the ins and outs of male culture in the US, racism in the US, and the culture around black men in the US. This book is a powerful story of growing up into a good person, taking the world as it is, and doing the real things you can to make it better.

This book should be required read for all middle schoolers or high schoolers. Terry is an example to me of how to be a good person, and I hope my boys some day can learn from him what it means to "be a man."
