Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton

emotional inspiring reflective medium-paced

3.75

Perfect book for a girl in her late twenties, like I’m so glad I read this at the age I did. It was funny, sad, frustrating, resentful, hopeful, and ultimately calming. It’s comforting to hear other people go through similar situations that you find yourself in and acts a great reminder that we all are more alike than we think sometimes and that there is so much yet to come. I sometimes feel like I have no control over my life and things happen TO me not BECAUSE of my own actions and decisions. I won’t be naive to say this book has changed my thinking patterns and choices over the years, but it’s given me more ways to meaningfully reflect on them and for that, I am grateful.
