The reviews are all over the place. People who like theatre people and mysteries and unreliable narrators will enjoy this a heck of a lot. I think this might be a love it or hate it.
Finished it - so more than 2 stars. I did not enjoy it - it was more predictable than expected given the many plot twists. But for me the real question at play (sigh)- will you like the unlikeable, unreliable narrator - or hate him? I didn’t like him - knew where we were headed from the beginning. Yet, I finished it hoping to be surprised. Was not.
The audio narrator makes this tolerable. I would not have finished the print version. Would probably have turned to the back, seen my guess was right and not finished.
