Everyone Brave is Forgiven by Chris Cleave

4.0

This book began with what seemed a light glimpse into wartime London- a very British glimpse- but it didn't take long to take me by surprise. Some of the richest descriptions of the Blitz I have ever read, and a vivid depiction of the life of a soldier in Malta during the siege. A great read, which took my breath away at times and never let me assume that everyone would be alright. Four and a half stars for me.
