Emily makes some very interesting points, and I had to work a little harder at battling some internal misogyny while reading it. There's just something so difficult about reading about the most beautiful girl in the world complain about being paid to go on vacation by posing in some pictures. While struggling through reading passages like those, there were also lots of portions of this book that were eye opening, heart breaking, and I actually enjoyed it overall. I probably wouldn't recommend this book to everyone, but its a simple memoir that can be picked up anytime.
