Adjustment Day
by Chuck Palahniuk
I thought this book started a little slow, and it took me a while to really grasp all of the different story lines. But once the story started moving, it was really difficult to put down. It didn't have the typical Palahniuk twist/mind-f**k at the end which was refreshing. I love how Chuck can continue to explore different writing styles and genres so as not to become stale. This book was very reminiscent of Margaret Altwood's The Handmaid's Tale, which I also liked about it. I would have given 5 stars if not for the slow onset.
