Did not finish book. Stopped at 12%.
I hate when books written by a woman for women spend time putting down other women for no reason example 6 fucking percent in
Except for the woman behind me who has been giggling obnoxiously this whole time. She lets out a loud whoop and then whistles, a piercing sound that I’m sure has dogs howling three countries away. She’s got an American accent, and I’m not sure how she ended up in the royal box. Maybe she won a contest? When I give her a subtle glance all I can make out is bright blonde curls and some kind of horrendous red and white ensemble. Tacky.
Still 6% in
Like the leggy Swiss supermodel or that second-rate actress with the ridiculously massive fake breasts. I swear, you could hang coats on those things!

A shrill American voice. I can’t seem to escape this dreadful woman seated behind me. “Callie!” Callie?? Callum’s warm smile widens as his eyes shift somewhere behind me. And then, in a flash of blonde curls and—dear Lord, is that gingham?—the obnoxious woman from behind me launches herself into his arms. The arms that were, apparently, too sweaty for me.
And finally my last straw at 11% in
With her. Miss America, still draped in her red-checked excuse for a dress. Now that I’m seeing her for the second time, with a little less shock, her dress isn’t really so horrible—if you’re into picnic-wear as fashion, that is. Because it’s much more of a picnic blanket hugging her curves—which, despite her petite frame, are what Kat would call banging—than a tablecloth. I hate her. Before I even saw her and knew that she’d stolen Callum, I disliked her incessant giggling and general obnoxious demeanor behind me at the tennis match. But the hate sprang into being the moment she called him Callie. Don’t even get me started on that nickname, but it’s the sheer fact that she gave him a nickname at all. Now, seeing her in the palace, her fingers entwined with his, new hate springs forth like a second head. I’m a mythical creature, sprouting new heads of hatred. Some of it should direct itself toward Callum, not just Brit. But she’s an easier target.
First off "stolen" poor as yet unnamed girl is just dating a guy she likes or likes for his title I don't know and unlike you I don't judge but you can't steal a person and secondly you acknowledge that some of your hate should be directed at him how about all of it? He found out about the arrangement and started screwing around and ignoring you she has literally done nothing except not meet your fashion standards and yet everything wrong in your spoiled little life is her fault? Honestly I'm just over it.
