I was hoping I'd love this as much as The Kiss Countdown, and while I did like it, it wasn't as good. I just wanted a lil more from the story. But the romance was okay, the forced proximity handled well (Mars simulation!!), we got more space facts (yay), and it was funny.
Though at times Brianna and Roman seemed unbalanced in their attraction, she definitely liked him more than he liked her. I wish we got to peek inside his head so we'd know if that's really the case. I also feel like their relationship is based more on lust than love, and I don't think I truly got to know either of them as characters.
But maybe this is just a one-off, and Etta Easton's next book will be great like the first. Fingers crossed.
