Representation: Gay side character

I have to agree with the Hero’s sister, I was really disappointed that he condoned his company’s board having a Gentleman’s Evening celebration. For one, it’s sexist in that it excludes anyone who doesn’t want to partake in such a sexist event and women in the workplace. Also, the Hero says as long as the NDAs are signed by the “bunnies” it’s all OK... yet those NDAs protect the men’s reputations; they actually prevent the women who are hired as “bunnies” from coming forward if someone hurts them as they could be sued. Even after his sister brings all this up, he still went through with the event. I’m really over feminist issues only being relevant to men (characters) when it’s their mom/sister/love interest who could be hurt. It shows that they don’t actually care about equality for all women—since, obviously no one is close to every single woman on this planet.
