Unfortunately it wasn’t my cup of tea. I read this book because it was so highly recommended on BookTok and narrated by my favorite narrator, Joe Arden. Let me say if it wasn’t for Joe I’d have DNF’d the book.
What didn’t I like? I felt like the book was mostly about gore and porn with very, very little plot development. I ended up fast forwarding through entire chapters of incredibly detailed sex scenes trying very hard to find an actual story but came up short. There just wasn’t enough of a plot to keep me entertained. I typically read a book a day but this one took me four days to get through because I kept getting bored.
Again, if you are into very detailed hard core sex, read this book. If not, you might want to pass.
