I read this book after so many reviewers said how much better it was than "Even When You Lie to Me" (which I thoroughly enjoyed). This book was well-written, had an engaging plot, and interesting characters BUT I'm just gonna put it out there: it's 80-90% smut.
I don't actually understand the severe hatred of Even When You Lie to Me, while they laud this book. They are two totally separate approaches to a similar topic. This book took the unbelievable sex-romp-love-story angle (the other was a darker coming-of-age, naive, spoiled-girl-needing-to-grow-up tale).
I liked this book. I didn't love it. I don't think I'll be re-reading it, I liked it. If you want to enjoy a twisty-turvy student/teacher relationship book (with lots of smut), read this. If not, move along.
