I would give this more than 5 stars if I could - this is possibly the first book where I have actually cried a little that it was over.
I loved pretty much everything about this book (this entire series, really) and the way the characters were written and developed across the series.
The best fantasy books, to me at least, are the ones that can successfully tread the fine line between making you laugh, cry, be afraid and be awed in one book without something feeling like it doesn’t fit and this series pulled it off masterfully.
Also, I loved the footnotes.
