The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir by John R. Bolton
3.0
Lots of interesting and important information, much of it a repeat (with more detail) of stuff we already knew. It's a very difficult read though with long sentences and long paragraphs. Certainly, some of the fudging language required by the clearance process may have contributed, but even so, Bolton's writing is dense and is thus a slog. Way too much detail of when and where conversations took place - in a tweet I described it as his describing a meeting where the subject was what shade of tan paint to use in a room, but including how each of the people in the meeting got there.
