More like a 3.5.
The worldbuilding of this book is FABULOUS. Seriously, I could envision this world so clearly. Jay Kristoff has a gift of fantastic worldbuilding. But his characters fell flat for me. Ana/Eve was...boring? Ezekiel was...boring? Their insta-love was unbelieveable and dull. Lemon Fresh was everything though and she made the book more interesting for me. I think she had more chemistry with Ezekiel than Ana/Eve did. Also the 2 reveals at the end were pretty predictable (one of them I had known from the moment the character entered the scene). But the major plot twist I did not see coming. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'd have to see what the second book in the series would be able. If it's more Lemon Fresh, then I am game.
