Homer Price by Robert McCloskey
2.0

The stories were hilarious and clever: the Pied Piper of Hamelin spin-off, the doughnut machine, the balls of yarn, the suburb-building satire, etc. However, I couldn't get past the sexism and racism, especially in light of the fact that we were reading this book together as a family. This book has not aged well.
