The beginning is a slow start, the story really doesn’t pick up till around chapter 20. Just as you finally start to warm up to Feyre and her whining finals ends and she starts doing big bad female protagonist things. Last two chapters just slap you in the face killing your whole vibe.. At this point I don’t think I’ll read the rest of the series. (Original rating 3.5 ⭐️)

So after rereading I’ll bump my review up to 4 ⭐️ Taking things from Feyre’s perspective I’m a bit less annoyed with how she handled things upon first arriving in Prythian. I’m also no longer as jilted by the ending of this book. Time to push on with this series.
