Junkyard Bargain by Faith Hunter

4.0

I was really looking forward to this book, for I'm a big fan of both Faith Hunter and Khristine Hvam - the narrator - so it was an insta-grab for me.
I remembered liking [b:Junkyard Cats|54883063|Junkyard Cats|Faith Hunter|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1597164433l/54883063._SX50_.jpg|75023277] a lot, although my relisten yesterday proved I'm not as big a fan of it as other books by this author. That said, it was still good.

Junkyard Bargain is better than Cats, because it isn't just one big battle. Sure, there is action and battles here, and they're very well written, but not the focus. There's a lot more character-growth and subplots and such going on, which I really enjoyed.

And I'm so looking forward to book 3! Wondering if that will be the last book or if the series will be longer. Either way, they're fun, short reads.
