Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke

4.0

Lately, I've developed a fondness for cozy murder mysteries, particularly the ones that have been adapted into Hallmark movies. I enjoy indulging in stories that have a nostalgic appeal, much like something your grandma would enjoy.

What captivates me about these series is the charming setting of a small town, which creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. Despite having a noir undertone, these stories are still relaxing to read as the protagonist, Hannah, never truly faces any imminent danger. Similar to iconic characters like Nancy Drew or Aurora Teagarden, Hannah skillfully unravels the mystery and identifies the murderer before the police do.
