Whoa. Bunny gives Mean Girls but on another level of unhinged and intensity. If you were to plot a graph of the times I said to myself "what the fuck is going on" against the page numbers of the books, it would be an exponential curve. I think the beauty in this story is that you learn to process the plot with more questions than answers (But how many questions is too many questions? LOL), but also understand that this is about loneliness and the artistic process and grief. I think the ride was largely enjoyable, I wasn't really excited about the story in Part One. I also felt that Samantha's perspective of Ava was at times not very convincing, but then again it works well as part of the plot development.

Cool animal symbolism. I'd be hyped to see this as an A24 film and the letterboxd reviews saying this is the perfect movie for when you're high.
