Conflicted and powerful characters involved in a war fueled by hate

I don't even know how to express how much I loved this book. It has been on my TBR for a while but to be honest I didn't intend to read it now, until someone gave it to me. And boy was I wrong! This is a masterpiece. I immediately grew attached to all the characters, the storms raging inside their hearts, their relentless drive, their courage. They are truly fascinating and all have different scars that explain their behavior. They are all profound and conflicted and that is something I love. If I need to find something a little less positive, it would only be that the relationships develop a little too fast for me but otherwise, flawless. The universe is mesmerising, full of magic and beautiful creatures. I got lost in the story, the style was light and pleasant, allowing the reader to enjoy the plot. So underrated!

I can't wait to read the next one!!!!!
