This was a very atmospheric and truly heartbreaking read. The pacing was a bit slow to get through to be honest, especially during the middle part. However, Ishiguro’s writing was very beautiful. The story was very character-driven, and I loved how everything was slowly revealed. The ending felt very realistic to me.
