I think I was expecting a story with a bit more meat on its bones for this one, especially since I've seen Murderbot get a lot of glowing reviews elsewhere on the Internet. The end conflict seemed a bit too quickly resolved for my tastes, and I feel like we didn't really have a lot of time to delve into each character and explore their different mindsets and motivations. All things considered, though, the worldbuilding seemed pretty tight for the small glimpses into it that we got (I'm holding out hope that some information gets expanded upon in later entries), and I'm always a sucker for non-human entities suddenly developing human emotions and having to figure out ways to deal with that.

Still looking forward to reading the rest of the series at some point!
