I hated this novel. It was bleak, depressing and painful to read. This could’ve been redeemed by something other than unending misery porn. The characters were all terrible people, the one semi nice one was boring. I have had depression and saw a lot of myself in her thoughts and feelings, but still couldn’t understand a lot of the choices she made.

Also the character makes a really confusing decision at the end that doesn’t make sense. Also, why is she so unnecessarily cruel to her family?
