An enjoyable read, though much longer then most books in this genre.
I loved the setting of the swamps/bayou of Louisiana and the Cajun culture.
I would have like for more exploration of what The Twelve were and why they had their Bishops clothes etc. As well as more explanation of the Road Dragons and Swamp Dragons.
Driven more by the action than the romance, it was however not very spicy.
