The Satsuma Complex by Bob Mortimer

funny fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Loveable characters? Yes

3.0

The strengths are obviously the Bob Mortimer stand in protagonists internal monologue and character descriptions being his comedic voice with a funny little aside about a squeaky shoed loon, but the plot is threadbare and the actual story non existent, a disappointing mishmash. Would have preferred to try something a bit more experimental perhaps.
