I was spoiled on how Mateo died, so that kind of took it down for me, but I still really enjoyed his and Rufus's journey on their last day together and I thought their relationship was incredibly wholesome. They balanced each other in the way Rufus made Mateo more brave and Mateo made Rufus care more about everything. I think everything after Mateo's death was done so well and I just love Rufus's note to Mateo's dad.

I adored how Rufus's Instagram pictures all had color on his last day to represent living life to the fullest.

A very emotionally impactful read and I'm glad I finally got around to it!
