I can count on Lucy Foley to give me a good thriller about terrible people. This one was not my fave though - the people were a little too terrible. I'm not a huge fan of mental health and trauma as stand-ins for character development. The beginning felt a little too formulaic (reminiscent of the only other Lucy Foley I've read, The Hunting Party) and the end felt a little too far-fetched to believe. BUT! None of that kept me from reading or downright devouring this book.
