The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams

Now I know I can be a 5 star whore BUT THIS GODDAMN BOOK had me in a chokehold. I am actually depressed that I will never be able to read it again for the first time.
"All spouses become strangers to each other at some point in a marriage," Del said. "All human beings are a work in progress, and we don't all change at the same pace. Who knows how many people have gotten divorced simply because they failed to recognize that what they thought were insurmountable problems were actually just temporary phases?"
They should suggest that people read this at couples therapy lol.
"Please, Thea. Just give me a chance."
"To do what?" she blurted, throwing her hands wide in an exasperated gesture.
"To prove how much I love you."
"You should go home."
"I am home. You and the girls are my home."
Gavin really worked hard in this book to learn his wife’s love language and prove to her that he loved her. And I’m glad that Thea did some soul searching of her own at the end there because she definitely had some shit to work through so that she could see and appreciate what Gavin was trying to do instead of pushing him away at every hurdle.
Omg I just loved this. Marriage in trouble is apparently a favourite trope of mine.
