The Girl in the Spider's Web by David Lagercrantz

2.0

This book really didn't pick up until the last third. Lagercrantz's writing was stereotypical detective novel writing, which I don't remember in Larsson's books. Everyone was by themselves for a majority of their portions of this book. I missed the interactions between Lisbeth and Blomkvist. The last scene made me want to read the next one though.

Edit: After thinking about it more, the problem was that the stakes were built up, but they didn't matter. Multi-country agencies and the magazine in financial danger built up a big story but not much really happened and there were no consequences.
