Low fantasy following a betrayed outlaw's quest for revenge. Reads like a less bleak Abercrombie who spent too much time with a thesaurus. Alwyn's motivations get a bit fuzzy, but it's nice to see religious conflict front and centre in fantasy. Plus, just look at that cover art.
