Emotionally
SpoilerThis book was perfect for what I wanted to read at the time.

The plot was cute. We follow Gia on the night of her prom when she gets dumped by her college boyfriend Bradley. To save face with her snobby friends, she convinces a guy waiting in the parking lot to be her fill-in boyfriend for the night. I'm sure you can all tell what happens in this story from that description and you'd be right. It's annoying how predictable the plot is but it's still incredibly entertaining. I wish this could've been more surprising, maybe taken the unexpected turn, gone in a different direction that no one would expect, but it was entertaining and generally realistic if you were ever to meet some stranger in a parking lot who decided to help you.

Gia was really freaking annoying, I'm sorry. She's petty and shallow and ditsy. She has a very superficial personality and you can tell right off the bat. She definitely grew throughout the book and got better but it wasn't enough for me to like her in the end.

Hayden was cute and sweet, but dumb. I don't know why he fell for Gia, honestly. Speaking of Gia, her friends are idiots. They are just as superficial as she is and then kind of turn their back on her when she can't uphold everything. They had a right to be upset but it was way over the top. Bec was the only character that I enjoyed. She was awesome. I wish she would've had more to do with the story, or honestly a book about her in general.
