Twists like the ones in this book are why I love a well written murder mystery. We have all the cliches of the genre, a small town full of secrets, strange stories of murderous beings in the woods, shifting timelines, hidden pasts, and yet this book feels fresh. I was obsessed with Francesca's woowoo crystal manifesting success dairy free positive vibes only facade and how it would slip for just a moment every time something went wrong.
