Oh christ
This book was better than the first one in terms of dynamic writing, character development and a more well rounded plot, however, it is much darker and an exhausting read, the trigger warnings at the start do not cover the extent of abuse and depravity contained within. I would say the abuse did not need to be that detailed and 50% of it could have been cut out.
I get that the MMC is meant to tow the line between pain and pleasure but CNC is not the one for me personally, I don't think I'll read another book like this due to how dark it was, whilst there were 'good for her' moments when the FMC was getting retribution I can't recommend this book just because of how f*cked up it was
