This story was freakin' fantastic!
I loved how K Larsen weaved this story using before and present day. My heart broke for Charlotte being caught in this crazy captivity. For such a young girl she survived so much.
Holden was a product of his upbringing, and love him or hate him, the reader feels empathy for him.
And Nora, her story is no less heartbreaking and sad, the reader cringes with the things Holden did to her.
I have to read The Brother now!
