The intro started off promising with Zoey, smart and the kind of girl that sticks to her morals. But in the end, she folds before Carter in a somewhat dull way. Their banter was cute but not quite doing it for me. There were a few moments it seemed like she made an impression on Carter, but by the latter half of the book, she had mostly just fallen in line. I was hoping for a bit more sizzle.
