What do you get when you have an enemies to lovers trope and throw in a little bit of fake dating? This masterpiece!! That’s what!!
Brenna goes for an interview for her dream job, too bad the interviewer is totally sexist. When he doesn’t seem to listen to a single thing, what’s the worst that could happen when you tell him that Jake Connelly, the projected superstar rookie in the NHL is your boyfriend. Did I also mention that Brenna’s Dad is the coach at Briar and Jake plays for the rival team, Harvard. This is going to be a disaster right? 🤔🤔
Also one of my favorite parts of this book is the man himself, Mike Hollis. His commentary literally had my laughing out loud. I want, no NEED, to be his friend.
