I LOVED this book so much. It was so fun & cute and HOT.
The storyline was so different than anything I've read. The characters were amazing. It was giving 2000's romcom which we all know are the best. This book is more character driven than plot driven but I don't mind that. Cassie & Luke were adorable together and I loved seeing them together.
Cassie. I loved her so much. She's a fierce and independent businesswoman. She owns her own matchmaking service, The Ex-Files. Her job is to "date" potential clients and filter out the red flag ridden guys before matching them to her other clients. And she's curvy, we love that! Her walls around her & her heart are incredibly high but Luke was ready to scale them. Luke grew up in a very close-knit, loving family which is severely different than what Cassie had. He wants to settle down but isn't concerned with chasing his forever until Cassie. He wants to make her his & nothing will stop him.
I really felt for Cassie & when she started opening up not only to Luke but to others around her, I wanted to give her the biggest hug. The way Luke cares for & stands up for her was everything. I really enjoyed this book. I will definitely reread it. I'm excited to read the rest of the series.
